The 9th annual Dorothy Awards will take place Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Fantasia in North Haven.
Tickets are $100.
This year's honorees include Pedro Segarra, the mayor of Hartford; Diana M. Richter, Ph.D., executive director of the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen; Robin Banks, entertainer and fundraiser; and Out Film CT, which runs the annual Connecticut Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
The event also serves as the largest annual fundraiser for the New Haven Pride Center.
Get Involved
The Pride Center has scheduled a series of volunteer meetings; this is one of the easiest ways to get involved with the Center! Meetings are scheduled for Feb. 13, 22 and 27, all starting at 6:30pm and taking place at the Pride Center at 14 Gilbert St. in West Haven.
